I was recently fortunate enough to visit Alison on location in Pringle Bay where she has been on set for the past two months. We stayed all over the show, including the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in my life, HoogwaterHuis in Cape Hangklip (where these two shots are from). I'll have to post a photograph soon, although no pic will do the place justice.

My good friend Mat is off to start his training for anti-poaching and I went by for a quick visit before he leaves. He is off for a year where he will be tracking and capturing poachers in the South African bushveld. Spending sixteen days at a time out in the bush, sleeping on whatever, eating whatever and doing his business wherever.

I decided this dude is going up on the blog just because of how I met

him; as we walked down this path we came across two baby chickens, we did the whole aw' cute thing until he came out of nowhere and quickly scooped one of them up, snapped it's neck and swallowed it whole. This shot was taken seconds after. The other chicken was bravely saved by Alison and was able to become another animals lunch.

lately i have been working on a series of shots for a farmhouse restaurant, it's taken up more of my time than breathing. flower setups and fending off wild farm animals really gets to you.

I promised myself I wouldn't put anymore band stuff up on this blog, I guess it's just another promise im going to break. Tonight I did a few promo shots for their upcoming Aus tour, this was one of my favourites. The Dead Will Tell have had a few lineup changes over the years, Lloyd and Spence being the only original members left in the band. Richard joined early on adding another guitar to the once fourpiece and Zoran replaced the original vocalist Benji. Benjamin (not the same one) filled the spot when Mike left and Jeremy the newest member replaced Zoran who recently decided his time was up in the band. Seeing the new lineup for the first time was amazing. Super rad bunch of dudes and I wish them well for their tour, I hope Aus is ready for them.

Everytime I'm in Durban I end up having more fun than I thought possible. This tour was no exception. I joined Compass and Conqueror for a weekend of pure hardcore with Go Go Bronco and the many friendly Durban faces. It was Crossingpoints last show and Compasses last for a while since Rich is off to Hong Kong soon. The show was mad and the party was madness. Thanks to all.
